Nope! Mindbody is the backend we’ve chosen to handle scheduling, operations, and payment processing.
Unfortunately, that means some of our behind-the-scenes stuff needs to be a little more structured than the rest of Corrugated Universe. In particular, you’ll need to create a Mindbody account to book certain activities.
Don’t worry—we’re still all about cardboard, not cardio.

I'm not sure I like the idea of sharing personal information.
We get it. Unfortunately, this is necessary for a few reasons. We need to have basic contact information on file in case of an emergency, and Jonathan’s method of writing things down on scraps of cardboard just isn’t going to cut it anymore.
But there are some perks, too. Once you have an account, future bookings and payments are much easier, and you can log in anytime to see class schedules, manage your account, and access all sorts of other goodies.
And if Jonathan ever gets a chance to catch his breath, he’d love to start a blog to keep everyone posted on cool things happening at CU—which will be another reason to have an account.
We can reassure you that Corrugated Universe and Mindbody will not share your information with third parties.
And if you really want to stay unplugged, we still accept cash.
All kids, and adults, are welcome here.
We don’t know exactly what it is: the hum of the cardboard cutters, the open space, the unstructured environment, or simply the fact that we tend to attract a bunch of wonderfully like-minded kids.
Whatever the reason, we want your kid to feel respected, valued, and welcome here. There’s room to be curious, to be yourself, and to participate in your own way.
For kids 8 and up absolutely!
If you and your child are comfortable with it, and they understand that they’re expected to treat others respectfully and listen to our staff, they’re welcome to stay and make while you take a break.
We do both – on-site and in our space!
Schools, senior facilities (our specialized tools are great for seniors!), homeschool groups, and other organizations can work with us to create an experience tailored to your lesson plan, interests, or group—or we can keep it simple with an open build.

Does cardboard float? (for a brief time, before it gets soggy and sinks.)
We welcome donations of craft supplies, upcyclable materials (especially in quantities), technology, and cardboard—particularly the unusual stuff that’s hard to find but fun to build with.
You can also pay it forward by covering a drop-in session for another maker.
